Would have loved to be at a few of the CE events, but my CE won't even load.

I spent quite a bit of time on its development, so hopefully everyone likes it.

As for your CE, what kind of specific errors are you getting when you start the game? It's normal for CE to take ages to load if you have a lot of maps.

Here's my list that i have of what does and doesn't work, as well as my relevant specs:

Laptop specs:

2 gigabytes RAM
AMD Turion 64 Mobile TK-57 Processor
All updated drivers and DirectX 10
Web browsers: Mozilla FireFox 3.5.99 Preview, Current Mozilla Version, and IE 8 beta(not able to update), and Maxthon 2. Preview set as my main browser.

Working things:
Sins of a Solar Empire current version non-Entrenchment
Mozilla 3.5.99 Preview
Windows Explorer (most times)
WoW (has some networking issues; might be the program and not relevant to my problem)
Everything in safe mode

Non-working things:
TuneUp Utilities 2009 (wont show up)
Halo Custom Edition (wont show up)
Track Mania Nations Forever (freezes)
Miranda IM (wont show up)
X-Fire (wont show)
Connect to a Network service (freezes Explorer)
Skype (doesn't show)
Windows Installer Service (insta-freeze, but the cancel button makes it worse.)

[07-19 04:16:56] -UFG-Spartan1337: I have Vista x86 and Halo CE works fine with a bunch of maps. Infact, it actually runs better than XP for me, do to superfetch and the fact that it runs on both CPUs.

Trackmania works fine.
X-fire works fine.
Connect to a network works fine
Skype works fine
Windows installer service works fine

You try reinstalling Windows? You might have gotten a virus or gotten your OS bloated.

[07-19 06:53:42] {UFG}KillGodRin: I'm getting my Vista installation disk sometime in 4-6 weeks... ugh, I'd do it now but I'm taking machining classes for free so I might as well get 6 free college creds. I'll let you guys know if I ever get this to work right.
I'm also thinking about getting something newer, anyone got any (fairly) cheap ideas?

[07-19 00:38:50] -UFG-Spartan1337: Well, if you have a very low amount of money (less than $500), Dell has some pretty nice quad core pcs on sale.
Else, you should custom build one. It saves alot of money.
