[08-02 19:31:13] {UFG}KillGodRin: The reason for this is because, even WITH all of my custom coding, this site ACTUALLY! displays correctly on a self-coded web browser that I might put up for download eventually. Unfortunately, it only runs on my (again) self-coded Linux-based RinWare OS. FYI, anyone got any good names for my browser?

Also, even with my Vista failing, this site actually doesn't freeze when I up or download.

[08-02 23:53:35] -UFG-Kirk: I find it mildly amusing that some random person online can code a web browser that properly handles tags, but Microsoft can't... have you seen our site in Internet Explorer? It's horrendous.

Also if you want some space and bandwidth for distributing that browser, just call out. UFG members are entitled to free hosting anyway, but I could give you space on the server this site is on too.

[08-02 13:39:01] {UFG}KillGodRin: I'm still fixing ALOT of the bugs in it, one of which is that in order to install it, you need at least 30 gigs of space when you create a redistributable.

And don't give me TOO much credit for the coding, I used a Mozilla Base for the horrendous task of tags and tabs. Right now it looks almost exactly like Firefox 2.0.

Still, half of IE's problems with almost all sites is that it reads code as "dummy code", so IE is great for people just learning how to code a site, for instance instead of opening a style sheet for background color, in IE you can simply use tags in your main body. So IE completely screws up anyone actually trying to create a multi-browser site, because you almost have to code a site twice, one for IE and another time for anything else that people use that uses correct code.

Sorry for the ranting, but IE has been a thorn in my side on Vista. Thank god my desktop should be running CE soon, then I can go to another 100 Caps and vent.

FYI, I still have my hosting from the old forum setup, so I'll try to get the redist up on there. Sadly enough I have to finish the upload errors on my browser in order to give anyone a redist!
